Tim Bailey, Training Coordinator for Management Development Programs at the John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy, joined The Ohio State University in the fall of 1986.

His career at OSU has included positions within University Hospitals; the Office of Continuing Education; the College of the Arts, the University Treasurer; the College of Engineering; and currently with Management Development Programs.

As Training Coordinator he works with the Management Advancement for the Public Service (MAPS) Program, the Ohio City/County Managers Association (OCMA) and various other MDP affiliations. His duties include management of registration systems, billing and financial tracking and developing procedures that support the mission and service goals of MDP.

In his private life he belongs to three Masonic organizations; serves as an Elder in his church; is a member of the Buick Club of America and its Central Ohio Chapter. Tim is also an active volunteer with the Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association, and the City Flowers Garden Club in Columbus, Ohio.

His personal philosophy about public service, leadership and community involvement led him to pursue a career within the John Glenn Institute and The Ohio State University.
