Laura Sipe joined the John Glenn Institute in December 2004. As Events and Communications Manager, she is responsible for the Institute’s various lecture series and special events, as well as creating publicity materials for all of the Institute’s programs.

Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from The Ohio State University in 1997, with a focus in stage management. She put those skills to use in stage management positions at the Contemporary American Theatre Company (Columbus), Florida Studio Theatre (Sarasota), and the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

Prior to joining the Institute, Laura spent 6 years in the OSU Department of Theatre, first as the Undergraduate Secretary, and later as the Graduate Secretary and Publicity Coordinator. She taught the department’s stage management course from 2001-2003. She also served on the College of the Arts’ Staff Professional Development Grants committee from 2001-2004.
