Prior joining the John Glenn Institute, Deanna worked for over 20 years in the private sector where she held a variety of senior-level positions in marketing and sales. Deanna started her career at AT&T as an Account Executive in Pittsburgh, PA. She subsequently served in positions such as AT&T’s Sales Center Vice President, Marketing Director, Regional Education Manager and National Sales School Instructor. During her career at AT&T, Deanna had an opportunity to work in Washington, DC; Cincinnati, OH; Basking Ridge, NJ and Columbus, OH. At Metatec, Deanna served as the Vice President of Strategic Customer Development where she oversaw company-wide sales, marketing and customer service initiatives. Deanna is an adjunct professor of Marketing at Franklin University where she teaches E-Commerce Strategy and Internet Marketing. She is also a member of Women for Economic Leadership and Development (WELD) and is an active participant in their Career Planning and Development Committee. Deanna has a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing, cum laude, from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Longwood University, cum laude, in Farmville, VA, where she was a Longwood Scholar. Happily married
with two children, a daughter-Stephanie and a son-Brandon, Deanna and
her family live in Powell, OH. |
