In 2003, Ohio celebrated
its Bicentennial Anniversary as the 17th
State of the Union. The Ohio Bicentennial Service-Learning
Schools Project (OBS) was a school-based,
curricular-linked initiative that offered
Ohio students the opportunity to actively
and directly participate in this event and
that recognized Ohio middle schools and
high schools as designated Ohio Bicentennial
Service-Learning Schools.
The OBS Project was a collaborative
initiative
