Community Research Partners is an innovative partnership of the John Glenn Institute, the City of Columbus, and the United Way of Central Ohio. The organization supports human services and community development through policy research, data development, program evaluation, and training. In its first two years, Community Research Partners has created a web-based database of community indicators for Central Ohio; published a comprehensive report on those indicators; offered essential training to nonprofits, city departments, and grantmakers; evaluated key human service programs; and undertaken targeted research on employment, education, race relations, and other social issues.

Community Research Partners is linked to a growing national network of organizations offering research and data services to inform contemporary community issues. Community Research Partners offers a unique perspective among those organizations because it is the only ongoing partnership of academic, government, and philanthropic institutions that addresses a broad range of community issues.
