| Advisories
The advisories, produced
by the John Glenn Institute, feature the
knowledge gathered by the paper series in
formats that are immediately accessible
to practitioners, policy makers, grant makers,
and the media. Each paper generates up to
four, 1-2 page advisories tailored to relevant
groups. For example, advisories for teachers
stress practical steps for implementing
service-learning, as well as identify outcomes
that service-learning can produce. Advisories
for policymakers identify outcomes, link
service-learning to broader social goals,
and focus on needed policy steps. Advisories
for grantmakers focus on outcomes, links
to broader social goals, and ties to outcomes
of particular interest to those groups.
General advisories for the media and other
groups focus on outcomes and links to broader
social goals, with special emphasis on information
that will attract public attention.
